Wine Seminar

Explore the Science Behind the Wine

Unique educational experiences make the Science of Wine a one of a kind event. Choose a more formal seminar experience that focuses on one aspect of wine or enjoy all the casual content throughout the event. This year’s seminar will discuss on cutting edge wine making techniques from Washington state.

All attendees will have the opportunity to taste the wines produced in that area and take a virtual visit to both the region and inside the wineries to see how these great wines are made. Hosting our journey will be Thom Horsey, National Wine Educator for Ste Michelle Wine Estates, Washington’s Founding Winery.

This year, to ensure that guests attending the seminar also have plenty of time to enjoy the Grand Tasting, we have scheduled the seminar as follows:

  • 4:45 p.m. Check-in & registration, Founders Room, Level 3.
  • 5:00 – 6:00 p.m. Seminar
  • 6:00 – 6:15 p.m. Open session for questions
  • Adjourn for Grand Tasting
