It was a rockin' good time at the summer installment of Science Night Live at Orlando Science Center! The adults-only event was highlighted by live band TWITCHY (composed of Florida Institute of Technology faculty) and the return of laser light shows!

TWITCHY showcased their musical brilliance during two sets in the Digital Adventure Theater: A National Geographic Experience. Led by FIT President Anthony Catanese and featuring former NASA astronaut Winston Scott, the band performed hits such as "Happy" and a science-inspired rendition of "Don't Worry, Be Happy."

Guests were treated to a Science Center staple with the return of laser light shows in the Dr. Phillips CineDome. On this night, Beatlemania took hold with three shows featuring The Beatles.

FamiLAB offered their services in Dr. Dare's Lab to show people how to solder. Guests went home with a LED robot pin of their own handiwork.

Of course, adults could act like kids again with four floors of exhibits, science demonstrations, hands-on activities and trivia.

Join us for the next Science Night Live on Saturday, Sept. 6, 2014!
