Seventh Annual Neanderthal Ball

Saturday, November 2, 2013, 7:00 - 11:00 p.m.

Dust off your club and drag your date to the Neanderthal Ball, the Orlando Science Center’s gala evening. Enjoy a “diamond dig” set amongst the prehistoric setting of the “DinoDigs” exhibit and the delectable food and wine choices under the star lit sky on the beautiful SunTrust Terrace.

“Rock out” with themed entertainment and music. Chisel out your mark at the silent auction. Dress code is cocktail fun with an accent on “cavemen couture”, with an animal print necktie or leopard pattern cocktail dress!

Not only is this ball filled with fun activities for you to enjoy, it is an upscale dining experience. Exquisite Gourmet food from Stonewood Grill will be located throughout the exhibits as well as Olive Garden’s fine wines and Orlando Brewing Company’s artisan beers. Still not satisfied, this year Absolut vodka is featuring a martini bar in Our Planet Our Universe.

Premiering Harriett’s Caveman Couture Contest

Dress is cocktail attire with caveman flair, limited only by your imagination. Previous guests have dressed to impress by incorporating animal print, feathers and bones. This year, Harriett’s Caveman Couture Contest will premiere at the Ball. Our judges, including Harriett Lake, Christi Ashby of Orange Appeal Magazine, and Allison Walker, Channel 13 TV On Demand Reporter, will choose the best dressed cave guest(s).

Dress to impress in your favorite Caveman Couture!
