Droll Academy is a two-man improv variety show starring Adam Scharf and Dan Collins. Directed by Richard Regan Paul. Droll Academy features honest and witty scenework intermingled with spontaneous music and fun characters. The show strives to show the true relationships between two human beings, but the boys always give the story a special twist.

Veronika Tuskowski
Veronika was born in Orlando Fl, and graduated from Boone High School. In drastic need of a life change, she decided to join the United States Marine Corps and was stationed in Pendleton, CA as a combat journalist. Veronika was deployed twice and finally returned home in 2008. With a mission to spread good will, Veronika and her friends began a local non-profit organization called “Good Karma for all.” Her influences are Alex Grey, and Dale Chihuly. She loves colors, surrealism, energy, and is fascinated by the subconscious mind because it helps you develop personal growth. Due to her love for painting repetitious shapes, Veronika will start a Psychedelic Marine painting series.

DJ Nigel John
Nigel John is an Orlando-based DJ and producer. As a DJ, Nigel is characterized by his eclectic, abstract and unpredictable sets. He has been the opening act for artists as diverse as Hip Hop’s DJ Shadow and DJ Craze; Drum and Bass’ AK1200 and Sage as well as the opening act for Faith No More vocalists Mike Patton’s rock noise project, Tomahawk. He has been producing original music for the past nine years. His sound is best described as a mix of abstract instrumental beats, dark groove and muzak. He has collaborated on many projects with Orlando Artists’ Doug Rhodehamel, Visual Artist Murz and the Voci Dance Troupe. Nigel’s philosophy coincides with the late trumpet player Miles Davis’ philosophy that music is like food….you just take out the ingredients that you don’t want.

Corey Alexander
Corey Alexander is a stiltwalking- balloon artist. Currently he can be found folding balloons at CityWalk's Margaritaville and various family restaurant chains. Like any true performer, Corey keeps his audience smiling and laughing as he twists balloons into crazy and colorful creations ten feet off the ground.

Admission & Evening Child Care
General admission for the event is $13.00 per person, and Free for Orlando Science Center members. For the parents looking for that “rare couple’s night out,” the Science Center will be providing an excellent childcare program that includes dinner and an array of fun activities.
