Keepin' It Clean!

High Touch Areas:

Our janitorial team rotate throughout the day continuously monitoring and disinfecting high touch areas such as railings, tabletops, buttons, benches, trash cans, door handles, and restrooms.

While the Building Is Occupied:

Exhibits staff rotate throughout the day and visibly clean dirty surfaces and disinfect high touch exhibits with cleaning products and electrostatic spraying. Certain areas may be closed briefly during the day for additional disinfecting treatment.

Exhibits:

Every exhibit space undergoes a rigorous cleaning and disinfecting each day before opening. This is accomplished through physically cleaning of objects, using bleach baths, and electrostatic spraying.

Priority On High Air Quality:

We have always utilized high efficiency MERV 14 medical grade air filters throughout the facility. Additionally, we have increased the percentage of outdoor air entering our building, to as much as 100% depending on outdoor conditions, in an effort to increase visitor safety and comfort. Additional air quality efforts include adding bi-polar ionization and UV sanitizing to all of our air-handling units throughout the facility. Even our elevators have been upgraded with increased exhaust and bi-polar ionization.
