Adult Volunteers

Orlando Science Center’s adult volunteers come from all walks of life to give back to their community, and they all share a common interest: inspiring life-long learning.

Volunteers give their personal time to teach, guide, and enlighten guests to ensure their visit exceeds all expectations. With roles including facilitation in our exhibit halls, conducting pop-up science activities, assisting with supply prep, providing special event support, and more, there is sure to be an opportunity that aligns with your interests!

Applications for the Adult Volunteer Program typically open twice a year for both Fall and Spring Sessions. Once your application is received, you will be contacted by the Volunteer Resources Department to learn more about our volunteer program and how your hobbies, interests, and skills can align with the Science Center’s needs.

All volunteers must complete a background check before joining the team. It is mandatory for all oncoming adult volunteers to attend an orientation and subsequent training.

Adult volunteers must commit to at least 4 months of service for a minimum of 6 hours per month.
